Some of our Bowie-area pastors make time to come together once a month to share news about their personal topics and their church events. They pray together for each other and for Christ to demonstrate His love to the City of Bowie through their message and church members.

At the annual Pastor’s Forum Luncheon held February 19, 2014, the pastors shared 9 ideas for reaching the lost and those in need in our city.  Those ideas were:

 o
  1. Pray together.
  2. Build relationships with our neighbors.
  3. Reach out and personally invite someone to church.
  4. Promote peace inside each of our churches.
  5. Get involved in Bowie community events.
  6. Become involved with city government and some of their initiatives such as “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” and “Teen Mentoring”.
  7. Train our members in cross-cultural ministry and outreach.
  8. Reach out to the poor and needy … food, clothing, shelter, etc
  9. Show more outward evidence that our churches are working together in unity.

“When it comes to revival, we are often waiting for God to show up and do the miraculous
while God is waiting for us to show up and do the obvious”
